MAD FOR BAR CARTS

Tonight is the Mad Men series premiere!  Since 2007, Don Draper has exposed us to the world of advertising in 1960’s New York City.  This fictional series magnificently captures the fashion, interior design, events and culture of its time.  The show is credited for often highlighting issues including sexism, racism, and adultery.  Cigarette smoking and drinking also play a very large role.  Unfortunately, this is the end, or the beginning of the end as Jon Hamm (Don Draper) explained on ABC World News.  

In celebration of the final series premier of Mad Men, I thought I would share one of the most fundamental elements of the series, the bar.  l love a great home dry bar; on a tray or a bar cart this will add an element of Mad Men flair to your home.  There are many different kinds of trays available; some wrapped with natural grass cloths and others are finely painted with vintage designs.  There are also endless options when it comes to selecting a bar cart; old or new, metal or painted, the decision can be quite difficult.  Whether you select a bar cart or a tray, a home dry bar is sure to be enjoyed for entertaining or a leisurely evening at home.
