One of my favorite things about my
job is getting to see new home products. Last week I had the opportunity
to meet with our Lee Jofa representative; among her presentation she displayed
the new Aerin Lauder fabric collection. I had only seen this collection
online, which hardly did it justice, and was anxious to see it for the first time in
person.
Aerin Lauder is the granddaughter
of Este Lauder, the world-renowned creator of Este Lauder beauty products. Aerin recently decided to launch her
own brand, featuring everything from home products, fabrics, and jewelry.
Looking at Aerin’s work you can see how she has created a cohesive and original brand. Her light
feminine interiors and fabrics reflect many
of the colors used in her beauty products.
In her fabric collection Aerin features a wide array of traditional
patterns with reworked colors or modern simplification. I recommend
checking out Aerin as inspiration for your next project.
